Beauty and Relaxation, Catskill Style

The inspiration for our Catskills New York Bed and Breakfast comes from no less than the natural wonder and calming atmosphere of the Western Catskills Mountains themselves.  We believe the loveliness and comfort of our B & B setting rivals anything available at other motel and hotel accommodations in our Catskills New York area.

Comfortable, Inspiring Catskills New York Lodging.

The house itself has been an inspiration to us. This unique 1890's-era home, with its three parlors, wood paneling, many windows and park-like grounds, struck us from the first as the quintessential Catskill get-away -- an ideal alternative to less homey hotels and motels.  At Yellow House you will enjoy all the comforts of home without the hassles.  If life could be like this all the time, you'd never leave home!

We welcome all of our guests warmly, and with a personal touch that we hope will immediately make you feel at home.  The Yellow House has generous accommodations that are equally inviting for couples, singles, families and larger groups.  Our four spacious rooms can all accommodate the addition of a comfortable, single-sized airbed (or two), which we keep on hand for a child or extra guest you would like have stay in your room.  With our relaxing grounds and multiple common rooms, you'll find ample space to pursue private and/or group games and other activities.  You can enjoy badminton, volleyball and ping pong in the yard, weather permitting.

For the outdoor-oriented Catskill visitor, fishing and water sports are abundant.  You can walk from here to the famous Beaverkill trout stream, renowned among anglers world-wide.  Alternatively, just a short drive east is Roscoe, New York and the desirable Willowemoc River, also cherished among anglers.  The East Branch, West Branch, and Main Stem of the Delaware River are also just minutes away for fishing, kayaking, canoeing or tubing. The Pepacton and Cannonsville reservoirs, also, offer prime fishing opportunities.  Hiking, biking, antiquing and other country pleasures will also beckon you to visit the Catskill Mountain park lands and many charming hamlets of our area.

At Yellow House we have striven to create a respite from your usual daily activities or, if you will, an opportunity for you to get in a little extra work (on that novel from the drawer?) far away from the interruptions of the family home or office. We respect your privacy and independence, but we also appreciate your right to be just a little pampered while traveling.  Let us show you how we strike this balance at Yellow House.  Call or contact us, and let us be of further assistance to make your stay in the Catskills of New York all that it should be...and more.
