About Us
Breakfast
We serve breakfast between 8:00 and 9:30 a.m. at a long communal table in our central dining room. But other options are possible. In summer, you may prefer the east porch overlooking the garden, or dining in the shade of our vine-covered pergola.
Menu is varies daily, with a selection of healthy grains, fruits and yogurt available, as well as egg dishes and delectable carbs (muffins, waffles, etc.) Please remember to tell us about any special food requirements.

Public Areas
Guests are free to enjoy several public areas, including the main living room and our Arts & Crafts media-room/parlor with video/DVD collections (also games).
There's a sitting alcove off the second-floor bedroom hall, plus a coffee/tea service area in the back hall where you can help yourself to coffee or tea in the evening,
and/or mornings before breakfast.

Outside the Yellow House
In good weather, we suggest you relax in the yard on a chaise longue or Adirondack chair, stroll the grounds, read or chat on a porch or in the pergola. Alternatively, take a walk to the beach on the Beaverkill River -- renowned as a trout stream, but also great for skipping rocks, sunning and beach play. |
